When God gives THE CALL, say “YES!”

Pastors Shawn and Brook Gray began their first 12 years in ministry serving as associates of youth. They invited students to be honest and real in their relationships with God and they encouraged them to drop their masks, tear down their walls and meet with God face to face. All along the way, Shawn knew that God had plans for him to some day start a church.

When presented with the opportunity to plant a new start church in Pleasant Hill, Missouri, in November 2010, God would not let Shawn sleep until he said, “Yes!” Six weeks later, the Gray family packed all their belongings and moved to begin this new adventure called, “Echo Church.”

In the first year of their existence, Echo Church met in the back of a music store. They held core meetings of approximately 30 people that grew to a congregation of 200 in the first year. Echo Church currently holds multiple services for hundreds of people to worship on any given weekend.

God continues to draw new people to Echo Church. He is calling them to an authentic relationship with Him, so the world may hear of His great love and salvation.
